I'd Rather Be Shopping

I got this image from the WRAK forums on SCS. Now that I've finally had time to play with it a little, I've decided this set needs to be in my collection (go figure). I'll have to stalk eBay and see if I can get it at a decent price.

Isn't this the cutest card? I just love it, although I'm admittedly biased. ;o) I colored it with my Copics and I just love the way the colors pop. I used Skin White for her skin, and I have to say I kind of like the Fruit Pink better for a skin color (that's what I used on yesterday's Bella). Skin White makes her look too pale. Like she spent the winter in Wisconsin or something. ;o) lol.

I got the idea to do the partial paper piercing on the circle from another blog (totally different card, just the same pierced circle idea) and I love that too. Maybe I'm just in a lovey mood today, but this is one of my favorite cards ever. Now, who can I send it to that will appreciate it? That's always a dilemma, isn't it?

I can't wait to show you the card I made for my bff's birthday. It's another "best ever by the bee" card (the bee is me... Sairabee ;o) ), but I have to wait until she gets it before I post it here because she reads my blog and I don't want to ruin the surprise!

Love all your new cards Sarah! If only all your stampin friends knew how much you loved to color. I have the proof in Becca's coloring books.:)
