For those of you who have surfed the gallery at SCS, you might know about the "recycled Christmas card" craze (see a sample here, by paperprincess1973). Well, why not do the same with Valentine's cards? Henry and I received two Disney Princess valentine candy packets this year. All of the writing and greetings were on the paper packet, not on the image, so I thought maybe I could recycle the images. Here is one of the two cards I made. Each was for a little girl's birthday card. This one says, "Happy Birthday Little Princess" on the inside.

Cards!! Finally!!
Here are the Valentine cards I made this year. Check my SCS gallery for more details on paper, ink, accessories, etc. used (sorry - don't feel like typing all of that again!).
This one was for Papa from Henry. Getting the heart in that little dinosaurs mouth was a trick, but I think it turned out cute in the end.
This one is for Darrin from me (thanks gain to Uncle Donnie for cutting that So Many Sayings stamp set apart)! Otherwise I'd never have been able to use just the "Be Mine" and hearts on this one.
This was to my sister and her kids. I love this little mouse. It's actually part of a bigger image that I think is geared more toward birthdays, but I thought it looked a little Valentine-y with all the hearts!
This was from Henry to his godparents. I love this stamp! lol!
This was from Darrin and I to my Mom and Grandma. I have had the SU air brush tool for EVER, and this is the first time I've used it. I thought it worked well with this "Love" image.
And finally, this was from Henry to his Grandmas. I thought adding the dazzling diamonds on the heart really made it pop!
"I'm Dreaming of a White....." Valentine's????
These pictures were taken today. It has been snowing since midnight, and we have about six inches on the ground with another 1-4 inches projected before all is said and done. If you know me, you know that winter is my favorite season and I especially love snow but this is getting old!!
This one is looking out into our backyard through the kitchen window (and screened porch). You can get a good idea of total snow fall by looking at the bird bath on the left.
This is looking out our dining room window into the neighboring yards (our property ends at the fence you can see a little of at the bottom of the picture).
