Days Like This

Here is the Snoopy card I started last night before the power went ouy in my mojo dept *wink*. I knew what image and sentiment I wanted to use... I even had the colors... but the layout eluded me. UNTIL.... I went to Taylor's blog to get the link for that post last night and I saw this week's Cupcake Challenge! I knew it was the perfect layout for this card as soon as I saw it. The off-kilter background looks so haphazard, I love it!

Speaking of things I love, the base of this card is Stampin' Up!'s new In-Color called Riding Hood Red. (LOVE. IT.) It's such a nice deep red. I bought the mixed paper pack of the five colors in the pre-sale, and all I know so far is that I DO need more of this red, and I DON'T need more of the blue (Bali Breeze, I think it's called). The jury is still out on the other three colors.

The sentiment I used on this card is by Verve Stamps, from their Feeling Groovy set. That's the set I picked to receive for free when I won that Mojo Monday contest a few weeks ago.
