The Fauxtograph

Ok, so Kittie Caracciolo I am not. I will admit that. LOL! But regardless, I still had fun creating this little scene of stacyfishabella by the stream (yes, I know it looks more like a sand trap - SHUSH!). I just did a bella image swap with two of the girls who participated in my recent bella card swap and this is one of the images I chose to receive. I have been debating whether or not to get Stacy for some time, and I think the jury is still out, but she does make a cute little fauxtograph! ;)

Here's a brief tutorial in case you can't figure it out from the picture...

1.) Stamp image on a square piece of paper (this is Whisper White).
2.) Stamp/draw a scene around the picture.
3.) Layer onto a larger square piece of white paper.
4.) Trim all edges with deckle blade scissors.
5.) Add photo corners.

And there you have it... the finished fauxtograph. And yes, I'm totally copywriting that word. ;o) ha ha.

What do you think? Lame? Fun? Cool? Tell me!

Details:
Stamps: Stacyfishabella, Karen Foster Snap Stamps (sentiment), Canvas (Stampin' Up!)
Ink: Basic Black, Sky Blue (sponged sky), Brocade Blue (sponged sky)
Paper: Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White, Chocolate Chip (Photo Corners)
Other: Copic Markers, Zig fine line black marker, Clear Stickles (on sand), tarnished brads

I think it's adorable, but what I really love is the texture you got on the dirt! Did you draw your scenery? Amazing if you did!
