Wednesday Weigh-In #7

It has been seven weeks since we started our Wednesday weigh-ins! How are you doing? Have you tried any new recipes? Had any successes (or drawbacks) that you want to share?

I lost .8 lbs this week, which brings me to 15.8 lbs total. I've been trying to follow some advice I got recently that said one should "eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, and supper like a college student on a shoestring budget." LOL! I'm sure you've all heard (as have I) that breakfast should be your biggest meal of the day, but I've never really made it happen. I've been trying to make it a point to always eat breakfast, then have a good sized lunch, and a small supper meal. So far it seems to be working for me (what you don't know is that I was up almost 3 lbs by the end of last week, and have lost all of that plus the .8 on this new system). So, we'll see how long this lasts... It's hard to not snack at night, but I'm trying my best!

I really want to reach the goal I set for myself by the end of this season of The Biggest Loser, so I need to stay on top of things.

I hope you had a good week! Tell me about it... :)

Hi Sarah! Keep on going! You are doing a great job of posting your success! So far, I am down 20 pounds. I have 30 more to go to get back to where I want to be! Some days it's so hard when you have to cook for a family, although mine have been pretty supportive. I have to force myself to eat in the mornings...but I have been. A huge bowl of fresh fruit and some yogurt do it for me! Again, keep up the great work!

Well I finally went ahead and joined Weight Watchers last week. The good part is that my friend Mel is the WW leader. The even BETTER part is that I lost 6.2 pounds this week. WOOT! Today was hard. Had a bad day...ate a pizza...well not QUITE the whole thing. The good thing is, I still counted it. Here's hoping for a better tomorrow.

Listen to you...you are doing great! I

had a bad start to my week this week (Wen - Sat...yikes!) but to my relief I'm even for this week so whew! I'm doing quite well this week though and am not feeling as tempting with stuff as last week so that is good too.

We'll see what happens this week!

Sarah,
I have lost 11.6 up to now...For my age that is real good...Us older ones lose much slower than you younger ones...But I'm very proud of myself...I went back to TOPS where I lost all my weight the first time...In 1993 I joined them at 199.75 and I got down to 135..lost to much and had to put some back on..got to 145 and held it for 5yrs and got older and put on 30..now I'm taking it back off..It is a vicious circle for me..Well now you know my life lol...
