Happy Bee-day 2 U!

Helloooooooo! Long time, no blog! Ok, so maybe it has only been two days, but it sure feels like a long time when I'm used to posting on daily basis! I've been busy decorating for Christmas, and for the moment am all out of jingle. hee hee. The tree is up and decorating, so I just have a few finishing touches to do and then I'll be done! Woot! I'll be sure to post some pictures when everything is finished, so stay tuned.

I was super excited to have a chance to play with my new supplies from i {heart} papers tonight, I just had to show you this cute little card I made! I have a girlfriend with a birthday coming up, and she collects bees, so I thought this would be the perfect card for her. The stamps are by Stampendous, and the set is called Happy Bee Day. It's such a cute little set. The words "hap", "py", "bee", and "day" are all separate stamps, which makes the set super versatile. You could do "Happy Bee-day", "Hap-bee Day", "Happy Day", etc. The set also includes the letter "U", and all of the numbers (0-9). Seriously, the possibilities are endless. I love it!

The little bee is supposed to be holding a package, but I thought the ribbon at the top made it kind of look like a potted plant, so I used these Small Blossom Sparkle Gems to add some blingy little flowers. I just added a little white in the center with my Signo gel pen, and some stickles to the bee, and voila! The paper is called Venetian Lace. It has that b&w pattern on one side, and the yellow on the other. It has a kind of brushed foil texture to it - sooo pretty!
