Blessings

It's new release time at Sweet n' Sassy Stamps! Are you excited? I know I am! I just love this new set called Elegant Blessings. Isn't that cross beautiful?! The set comes with some great sentiments, too. It's very versatile.

To make this card, I stamped the cross on white paper, then layered that on the black. I cut my DP the same size as my white cardstock and then sliced a cross in it with exacto knife (before layering it onto the white). Once I had it in place, I tore away the center of the DP to reveal the cross (curling the edges up, then sponged them with black ink), and added some tiny gemstones for a little bling. I also tried a new style of bow on this card. I've seen them done elsewhere, but never tried it myself. I like the results though!

This is the last stop on the blog hop for today, but be sure to pick up again tomorrow at Christi's blog! If you missed yesterday's peeks, you can find all of the links for the blog hop in my sidebar. :)

Enjoy the day,
Sarah

This is so beautiful, Sarah!! I especially love your background paper! :)

So, you asked me about my side column... if you look clear at the bottom of my blog (under copyright into) there's a couple of links that take you to where I got my whole template from. Beware though, if you DO decide to get one, SAVE your blogger template first and save all your widget links etc. in a word or notepad file beforehand. I had to start from scratch again.
