Wednesday Weigh-In #7

Sorry this is so late today! I have been doing the post during naptime lately, and today there was none. Argh. I hate it when that happens! I did get the boys in their rooms for some quiet time, but then got a phone call from a friend, so one thing lead to another and here I am at 9:45pm!

SO! How was your week? Did you lose this week? I had a good loss, after two or three weeks of plateau. I lost 3 lbs this week! Woot! That brings my total lost to 15 lbs, which is more than halfway to my 28 lb. goal. It also means I now weigh less than I did when I got married back in 1999. I'm excited about that! Curious about how much difference 15 lbs can make? Check it out! You'll notice I made that post almost a week ago. I weigh myself daily (taking each day with a grain of salt obviously, because there can be a lot of fluctuation in day to day weight loss), and lost the 3 lbs sometime between weds morning and thurs morning last week. So I made dh grab a camera and capture the moment before I lost it. LOL! I did fluctuate a bit (up, then back down), but I held on to the bottom line, so I'm happy about that.

I've been doing great with my exercising. I'm really enjoying it. I do The Biggest Loser Workouts... season 2-3, I believe. So, Bob Harper kicks my rear on a near-nightly basis. Once in awhile I'll toss in a Weight Watchers workout video or a Richard Simmons video to shake things up, but I really like Bob a lot so I seem to keep going back to him. One thing I definitely need to keep working on though is eating earlier. I'm still eating between 8-9 every night (after the kids are in bed). It's a hard habit to break.

Speaking of eating, my blogger friend Michelle sent me a recipe for "Diet Chicken" :o) this week, so I'll share it here:

6 Boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
1/2 cup light soy sauce
1/2 cup honey
2 Tbsp. sesame seeds, optional (I didn't use these)

Mix together soy sauce, honey and seeds (if desired)
Place chicken in slow cooker, spooning 2 Tbsp. of mixture over each breast. Pour any remaining sauce over top after all the chicken is in the cooker.
Cook on low 4-6 hrs, or until meat juices run clear.

That's it!! It ends up being 170 calories per serving. I garnished it with fresh pineapple on the side. Really good!!!

I can't wait to try it!

Enjoy the day ;o) night!

YAY for you! And I saw that post last week and can really see the difference! I finally caved and joined Weight Watchers this week, but it's turning out to be a good thing. I've lost 2 pounds, and that's in additon to the 3 I previously lost, so that's five, but I'm going to start going by the weigh-in weight. Jon and I have been getting up in the morning and doing pilates as well, so that's helped. And I also ordered the BL workout tapes from Netflix so Bob can kick my butt! Here's to another good week!
