This is the card I made for my friend Deb's birthday (which just happens to be today - thankfully I remembered to mail it this week too). It's also the first "long" card I've ever made. I just love the way it turned out. This Blossoms Abound set is one of my all time favorites. I knew the moment I saw it that I just had to have it (which means it will probably be retiring on the 15th - *sigh*).
You can't see it in the picture, but the lilac blossoms on the front of the card are accented with dazzling diamonds. The background lilacs and leaves are the lighter color, but stamped off on a separate piece of paper to appear even lighter. I also sponged green (old olive) in all of the open white spaces to fill in the space a little better.
Do you love it? Leave a comment and tell me!

Sarah I absolutely LOVE your card! This is one of my all time favs! I hope it stays in the catalog for a long, long time. Love the color around the inside flowers....I've never used that color to highlight the lilacs like that. Thanks for the idea!
